Need load for 300 H&H

I'm doing some reloading again after burning up a bunch of old stuff in my 300 H&H.

I want to prepare some new loads using 165 gr Nosler AB's and PT's.
I've got lots of IMR 4831 and RL22 on hand, some 4350 and plenty of WLR primers.

Anyone have a good load for those two bullets using what I have on hand?
 
My loads for the .300 H&H were based on 69.0 grains of IMR 4350 with Partition bullets, W-W cases and Fed 215 primers. They clocked about 3150 fps in a 25 or 26 inch barrel and poleaxed any deer that I ever shot with them at any reasonable range. I would not change using the same load for the 165 AB bullet unless it is not accurate in your rifle. I have owned two Model 70, .300 H&H rifles and both of them liked this load. Accuracy was better than MOA in my rifles.

Though smaller I find this way easier to read. ;)
 
I do not have QL. My standard load for the .300h&H is 69-70grain of Norma MRP to a 200grain Nosler AccuBond.
How does that hold up in the QL program. My COL: is 3,56". winchester brass. Fed 215 primer.

My load in my 300H&H is a 180gr Nosler PT, COAL=3.580", 72.0gr RL22, Fed 215 primer, Win Super-X cases. Accuracy is between 1/2 and 1 MOA, chrono average is 3015fps. It makes deer die quick.

I have not run 165's in the rifle, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to do so at some point. The load I'm shooting seems to really make things messy if bone of any consequence is hit. ;)
 
Thanks Dr. Mike. I guess I am about MAX with my loads. The primers do not seem too flat with a crater in them, but I asumed when I started reloading for this caliber is was about max. No need to push the luck any further.

That is pretty awesome with what your getting. Nearly 2900 with the 200 AB is a great load. I think that data is at 61K, so you have a nice margin of safety with that as well.

Seems like RL22 is a great one with the H&H.
 
I was getting 2850-ish with a 200gr AB and RL22, so it's surely viable. I just didn't get the consistency in my rifle.
