Neighbourly Moose

I guess he tired of grooming the lawn and decided to park himself in the carport.

My lady came home after about an hour. Apparently, Mr. Moose has parked himself at the side of our house.

Got to love mother nature. He must have been around your house before and just felt comfortable in your yard.
Rodger, he may have been the young bull that spent the day in my wife's flower bed last spring. He came back in the afternoon and spent good part of the afternoon trimming the bushes and vines in the front of the house.

We have on occasion have moose in our backyard but I have not captured a pic with the doorbell yet !
Now that’s awesome!
He continued posing for the doorbell csmrera. I believe we got five different videos yesterday. Funnily enough, I got a notice of a past picture from eight years ago on the same day of a cow and a calf in the yard.

My wife is an animal lover and really does not like me to hunt. Last fall a moose got into her roses and she allowed as it would be ok if it were to end up in the freezer. Funny how things change.

My wife isn't against hunting and likes a good venison stake. She isn't happy that the local deer herd trims here apple tree each winter taking all the young shoots off the limbs. But enjoys watching them feed in the lower yard.

My wife never objected to my hunting, but she didn't want to see dead animals. I was welcome to bring home all I wanted if they were wrapped in butcher paper. That was an acceptable compromise for me.
