I am out and about again. Drove the entire length of Nevada the last two days. From Twin Falls , Idaho to Needles Ca. Pretty much covered the eastern 1/3 of the state from north to south. We saw 17 antelope. That's all !!!. I expected to see at least a hundred. When I drove the same road a few years ago they were everywhere . I wonder what's going on? Any ideas?

Well I've driven that stretch without seeing any, so I think you did pretty good!

That would be disconcerting, Bill. When we are expecting animals and see none, it does disturb.

Folks from Wyo will have to correct me....but if I recall correctly Antelope are subject to disease and die off from time to time. Aside from that....Dry weather, wet weather, hot weather, cold weather play a big part in antelope numbers. Its all about timing and they are susceptible.... Hope things are better than you fear. CL

All that said, them dang things can just get up and leave one part of the country for another too... I'd bet I've shot a Wyo. antelope with a South Dakota tag :) CL
