I've found with Nosler brass, no prep is necessary. I know some people full length size new brass.
My prep method for all but Nosler has been to run the neck of the case of the expander ball, chamfer inside and out and ream the primer hole.
This has worked well for me until recently when I purchased some 280 Remington brass. Some of them never contacted the expander ball so I ended up running them through a neck sizer die.
Got me thinking it might not hurt to run all new brass through a neck sizer but am looking on feedback for the pros and cons of this.

I run all but Nosler brass through a die before reloading if for nothing else to know what I'm starting with and that all cases are now equal.

I have only used new Winchester brass and run it through the die before starting. Looking at the case mouth as they come out of the bag makes it an easy decision.

I would have thought the same with Nosler, but the last batch I bought the primer pockets were shallow and I had to run them over the uniformer. They were still quite tight even after that.

I was amazed last week to see some 6.5x47 Lapua brass. Brand new out of the box this very expensive brass at £1 GBP each..($1.63each). primer flash holes with brass swarf in them. That's something I really wouldn't have expected and a disapointment. ATB ET

I have a few hornady dies and Lyman m dies on my bench. Either the eliptical expander in the hornady or the mandrel in the m die are perfect for uniforming virgin necks. If i would get a "loose feedback" I would set the case aside for a hit w/a lee collet die. From there its over the the 5 station rcbs prepper for deburing and a quick polish w/a vid chamferer. Then load n go......full prep after once fired.

I never size new brass, I only run it over the expander to round the case mouth. I have read lots of places that full length sizing new brass leads to early case head separation.

I full length size new brass . I don't want a surprise of one not chambering . new brass should be undersized from the factory , so full length sizing should cause no problems .
