Guys,

I just completed my new rifle build. Haven't shot a round downrange but I am hoping it shoots as well as it should. Here is what I have...

6.5 Creedmoor (no neck turn JGS reamer but tight nonetheless)
Lilja 1:8 three groove barrel
Stiller TAC 30 blueprinted
Jewell Trigger set at 10 oz.
KMW Sentinel Stock
KMW bottom metal
AI 5 and 10 round magazine
Nightforce NXS NPRII reticle
Badger Ordinance rings
KMW front rail

Jock,

Man, that looks nice! I would think she will be a shooter for sure.
What load(s) are you going to shoot and what king of distances are you going to be shooting?

JD338,

Hoping to push the envelope out to 1000yds. Going to try Berger VLD in the 140 and Lapua Scenar in the 139. I have also purchased 130 grain VLD's and Scenars in the 123 configuration.

My buddy and I built identical rifles and he finished his 3 weeks ago. Shooting H4350 and Berger 140 VLD's we were able to achieve one ragged hole with 5 shots at 100yds. The cleanup was wonderful as well. 3 patches and no blue!

That said, though using the same equipment, reamer etc. etc. they can shoot differently.

The KMW stock is an absolute dream. Terry Cross design and made by McMillan, it fits the hand and points naturally.

It looks as if you have built a fine rifle. This is a promising cartridge, for sure.
