Tim here, aka CWO4USCGRET (Retired Coast Guard Chief Warrant Officer 4 and also a Retired Customs and Border Protection Officer). I learned to shoot in the early 1960s as a lad at the local YMCA on Saturday Mornings. I think it was $.15 for 10 rounds of .22 Long shot prone with single shot rimfire bolt action rifles. After the military and while working for CBP I started feeding my addiction by buying hand guns, rifles, shotguns, and the assorted gear we all "need".
Spotted an "interesting" rifle on the website of one of my local gun shops here in San Antonio, TX so of course I had to have it! A Nosler M-48, chambered in 26NOS. It has a OPTIKA6 MeoPro 2.5-15x44 scope mounted on it. As soon as I can get some ammo for it I will take it to the range and see what I can do with it.
Now, what model do I have? Dark grey stock, random black marks, black barrel, bolt, etc. - SN: N93XXX range.
