New police less than lethal ammo

That has to be the epitome of assininity. Oh wait! The company that makes it is in California. That explains it. Par for the course from the land of fruits, nuts and flakes.

This is ridiculous. There is a reason police have less lethal weapons (Taser, beanbag, Arwyn etc), and there is a reason police have lethal weapons.

Well Guy, what do you think. Carrying a half dozen of those on our belt would have been interesting. Give the bad guy a nice orange target to shoot at. "politically correct ammo". (I'm glad I retired)

This is a great way to increase the amount of Officers killed in the line of duty. The politicians will change the way law enforcement conducts training, so instead of making the best decision you can at that moment in time, cops will be second guessing themselves and getting themselves or others killed.

Why on earth would we want to address the root of the problem...... Bad behavior? We will also need to train criminals in the use of a "time out" card. During a fight the officer draws his "time out" card from a newly developed holster. Bad guy stops and give the officer time to slap that garbage on the end of his gun......problem solved!!!

Police behaviour may already be changing. Reports from NYC, where the mayor has quickly dissed the police and exalted the criminal element, police attendance on many calls is down dramatically--up to 94% drop in reaction in some instances. Wonder how the "City that Never Sleeps" will enjoy itself when it cannot sleep lest the house be broken into and the citizens killed?

That mayor is a huge turd. I am glad a lot of the NYPD turned their backs to him during the funerals, etc.

I always thought, and even used, 7 1/2 birdshot at the ankles as less than lethal. What's wrong with that? Worked then so it should work now.
