Well after a few hicups aka USPS losing my first action I mailed, I finally got my rifle back from the gunsmith. I havent been able to test any loads yet due to rain but have some 115gr NBT loaded and will hopefully test this weekend. After load development I will disassemble the rifle and coat it all.

Specs: Rem 700 SS action- Action trued and bolt work
26" Rem takeoff barrel in 257WBY
Factory old style trigger- Resprung/Stoned/Tuned
Laminate stock- Bedded and free floated
Vortex Viper 6.5-20x44 mounted in lapped Talley LW 1pc ring/base

Very nice! Quite a handsome setup; and it is a fascinating chambering. It will be most interesting to see your range results.

Wow!! That is nice! Congrats on such a nice looking rifle. Hope it shoots as good as it looks!

I am guessing from the recoil pad, that is a Remington stock? Who did the work? Sure looks sharp! Should be a heck of a long range shooter!

The stock is a remington takeoff from a 375rum. Lee christianson did the action work and installed the barrel. The bedding and coating will be done by myself. My younger brother did the trigger work.

That's a beauty for sure, I really like how it looks hopefully it will be a tackdriver for you.

Very nice!
Looking forward to the range report.
