New toy to play with

This stock was hard to find and paid over MSRP but I had been looking for it for a long time and when it appeared I jumped on it fast! Rifle is 4 1/4 lbs by itself!

I am wondering if this stuff will out shoot CCI Mini Mags Scotty ? I need to rent an RV and hang out at my ranges RV Park :) only issue is the altitude being 6600 feet ! We have a 1K Yard range and I need to get qualified on it and my 338-378 will get me qualified but I need to swap my Swarovski 5-25x52 to get this done I think? With the BT Turett I think I will have my best chance :) I have 4 weapons that are un shot by me that I have high hopes for and I will have some to post soon!!

I actually think the CCI Mini Mag might be close to this Lapua ammo but not sure? hey truck driver would you know what kinda coating the tips of this ammo are coated with? No body mentioned it being coated but it has something on it for sure?

That looks like it'll get it done.

I'm not sure what they use but it is a type of wax lubricant that has been used for ever by most 22 ammo manufactures. they all have their own recipe, lubloy, lublox it helps to cut down on leading. Federal used bees wax for years and it would melt and run off in the summer or if exposed to heat including body heat.
Some of it has an oily texture that feels greasy RWS is like that and most European 22 ammo that I have used.
Some of the swaged pistol bullets you can buy are lubed with Johnson & Johnson liquid floor wax, they won't admit to it but it sure smells like it plus it will dry hard and not rub off easy.

Called Lapua and they said the black tips were due to powder graphite added during the manufacturing process and that a proprietary lube was coated on the tips during packaging and that it was like a petroleum product? Purchased this ammo from the guys below and they ship fast !!

I like the SK and Wolf brands 22 ammo for my Bullseye Compition. I actually use the cheap stuff $5.50 a box of 50 and found it does as good as the $15.00 per 50 a box.
When I go to Camp Perry I would always stock up on all my reloading and shooting supplies, primers, bullets, powder and 22 ammo. Champion Choice was just one of the suppliers I used and seemed to have what I needed.
