Ok silly question.

I have one of these sitting around doing nothing. The scope is phenomenal in every way IMO. That said it is a beast! Almost 40 ounces, 34mm tube and over 14" long sans sunshade.

Those who have one or more of these what do you have it mounted on? I think this giant is too big for anything I have LOL

I have big scopes mounted on short barreled rigs...I may be the wrong person to respond 😇
If it is for a hunting rig, choose one where you are not in the hills or doing a ton of walking with...

That is the only thing I can think of........or..... My marlin 336 30-30 :ROFLMAO: Just kidding!

I have mine mounted on my Nosler Model 48 Long Range using a one piece base with Nightforce rings. Also using a Bradley adjustable cheekrest to get the proper cheek weld. Best real life hunting distance so far was an elk at 802 yds ... still working towards my goal of 1,000 yards.

JJ what chambering? What is the weight of the whole setup?

.30 Nosler ... total weight with no ammo is 10.95 lbs. That's with the scope sun shade tube, Accuracy 1st bubble level (cant indicator), cant Adj bipod, sling, 2 round holder velcro'ed to the stock, Bradley Adj cheek rest ...

Fotis,
It's a beast of a scope for sure.
Maybe mount it on your Weatherby Backcountry Ti 6.5 Wby RPM. You would have a sub 8 lb rig. 😎

I've seen these on precision long range .22 rim fires for precision long range target shooting. Not something I would want to lug around on a hunting rifle.

I decided and mounted it on this already heavy beast.

Savage 12 Single shot 22-250 AI 1:9 RPM. 75 ELDM at 3400 fps.

Should work.
