Sunday July 29 9am phone rings and wife says its for me. ""Hi it's Scott'', he says. "" Whats up"" I reply. "" Did you know I'm going for Stone Sheep in two weeks?"" ""No I never heard'' I said.
""While I bought this new movie camera and I want you to come along and film the hunt for me""
Scott asks. To make a long story short I'm going to get to tag along, I was so pumped I could have run 100 miles last night.

That sounds like a good time waiting to happen. You're fortunate that you can work that into your schedule.

Congratulations. Make certain to get some great film. Where is your buddy hunting?

That is great news STW, lots of photos and film work :) look forward to your story when you get back.

Blessings,
Dan

Dr. Mike I answered your question incorrectly. He is hunting with Frank and Cindy Simpson somewhere in the Cassiar mountains

You should do well. The pictures and video will portray some stunningly beautiful country.

I just went on the web site and STW you are really going to enjoy this adventure.
It looks like a first class trip.
When do you guys leave?

Blessings,
Dan

STW,

Nice! I am sure you are going to have fun. Good luck to your buddy on his sheep hunt.

STW,

That is definitely fine Stone Sheep country. I've hunted in that area in the past, and I hope to make at least one more trip into that area. You will see some stunningly beautiful country, that's for sure.

We leave home on August 12th and I think its 20 hour+ drive before we get on a plane. We leave base camp on the 14th. I've got some 150 TTSX in 300 RUM loaded and sighted in and have offered him the Christensen Arms rifle if he so wishes. First time for me to be on a hunting trip out of province and can't wait to take it all in.

Man, what an experience you will have, I am so happy for you and can't wait to hear about the trip and all that went on. Congrats to you man, have a ball. :)

HI STW, just wondering if you are back yet? When or if you are back please fill us in on how that hunt went
Us flatlanders enjoy to hear and see the great hunts in the rockies :)

Blessings,
Dan

Trying to upload a few images but I keep getting the message that the file size is too large. Any ideas out there?

I use Photoshop to resize and format images for the internet. The file size is usually too large and dense for posting. Even free software like Picasa will allow some file editing or file resizing to JPG for reformating pictures for the internet.
