No Gun sales to California

I've been seeing more and more dealers on Gunbroker saying no sales in California. I asked a dealer that I was interested in buying from, What's with the no California sales? He answered that as of 7-01-08 there were changes that were too much to go in to and his decision was "No California Saless".
Does anybody know what is going into effect that would influence so many dealers?

California passed "Microstamping" and the former body builder signed it into law. Might be time for you to move out of that commie state.

You are right! It's long past time. I just don't know how to seperate my wife from the grandkids. It won't be easy.

Micro stamping is still out there, the "gov" did however sign this one.
