Thanks a lot....another slap in the face.... I will not ever encourage a young man to enter the service.

To add insult to injury, the funds expended to favour illegal immigrants are retained. What are those dolts in the Senate thinking?

They have tried to balance the budget by taking our COLA how many times now? It would not even pay the interest on the national debt ?

Me thinks we are heading to another War of Northern Aggression. I just pray the right side wins this time.

Vince, we are with you this time. Maybe it should be the war against Washington DC aggression? Everyone succeed but Washington IL, PA, MD, DC, NY, NJ CT, and MA.

And according to the evening news media, the winner of the Years Biggest Liar Award is ...

small drum-roll please,

the prez (DF)

Are we surprised ?????????????

Senator Patty Murray comes in 2nd since she has always claimed the military vets and retirees are important to her. Libarals all lie to get elected. The truth always seems to trickle out. Maybe she will get voted out.We do have a large military presents in Wa state.

I was amazed to see Sen. Warner (D-VA) defend these cuts as miniscule on FoxNews this evening. He was arguing that these were small cuts and the big cuts necessary would come later. The big cuts have been necessary for at least two decades, and the Congress is unwilling to irritate any constituency to do what they are elected to do. Their current actions show how much they value the military and those who have served.

We are still stunned about Patty Murray, she was down nearly 300,000 voted in her last reelection bid. Then Obama came to town (Seattle, not Blight) and suddenly she was 50,000 votes ahead. Wha' happened???

I hear ya OT3. I retired from the DOD after 39 years. Obama cut our cost of living raises back to 1 to 1.5 percent his 1st year in office. It remains that way currently. I don,t care about that at all. I,m fine and don,t need the money. But to screw the vets blows my mind. It is worse than wrong.

They're selling the 1% part of it. What they don't mention is that over the course of a military retirement that adds up to six figures.

Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Period.
