Trying to find out what the twist is on it? I haven't been able to find out what the factory barrel is twisted at?

That is certainly a sweet looking rifle. It appears to be commanding a premium (at least in the seller's eyes) because of its relative rarity.

I called Winchester and was told 1-8 twist, yes it is kinda expensive and has some serious rash on the forward side of the grip? Not sure when these were made but they are not being made now and it looks like a fairly new rifle but it could just be a safe queen but I am hesitant when people start working on new rifles such as the bedding job he had done? Discontinued in 2007 and Dr that price is high as ya see what the MSRP in 2007 was :roll:

You wouldn't be disapointed CC.. I really like the 35 Newton alot. It is everything I wanted in a big 35..
