After reading several knowledgeable members posts about BT's I decided
to try some with know powders and chgs.
My favorite load of varget and the Accubonds didn't do as well as I hoped
but the 8208 did well except for the monkeys in both the groups.
Accubonds w/Varget & BT's w/8208. Cant wait to shoot
them at jugs. Happy Easter Guys. He's been good to me
and my family.
Note: The 8208 load data listed on the target is incorrect.
It should read 42.2 gr...44.2 would bend yer nose back.

WOW! That 8208 and 125's looks incredible buddy!

Happy Easter to you as well! Awesome shooting!

I'd say the 125's looks as if they will work for you. Trust it has been a blessed day for you fellas. It has been a busy one for me; but it has been a satisfying day.

Nice shooting. That load is a winner.

Happy Easter.

Yep yesterday was a wonderful day but really busy for me. I preached two sermons, Sunrise service and regular morning service, sang The Holy City as a solo for special music, had 4 people that have no family around here over for lunch and gave one of the fellows a hair cut, buzz cut, like I do for what hair I have left for myself every week. LOL We did not have an evening service to allow people to spend time with their families.

Nice groups. I have found that 46 grs of IMR 4895 with the 125 Ballistic Tip is a BUG HOLE shooter and deer smoker in a number of 308 rifles. Does 3000 fps from 21 1/2" barrel.

Skidmark, that 165 Ballistic Tip you were trying is one heck of a hunting bullet.

Accurate as a match bullet, yet expands well and retains more than enough weight to punch through deer sized game. From what I've seen of it, I wouldn't hesitate to use it on elk either.

Good shooting!

Thats correct Guy. 165's
These also are Cup and core correct ?
I'm going to load some Accubonds with the IMR
and see if the results are the same.

Yes, Accubonds & Ballistic Tips are "cup and core" design, with a Really Heavy base & jacket towards the base.
