G'Day Fella's,

Sorry I haven't been more active on this forum, been a bit busy workin on some Fun Projects!
One of these projects, was to assemble an accurate target load for my poor old "A" prefix Rem-700 (thats a story in itself), .308 Win rifle.
I'll post the image of the group I shot with this rifle and ammo combo, as that will best address this thread!!!

It just does not get much better than that!! Very nice grouping with the Nosler bullets.
David

G'Day Fella's,

Thank You for that David!
I'm wondering what a good BR shooter, might be able to achieve!!!

By the way, I latter measured this group at 0.464" centre to centre!
I'm a Very Happy Camper!!!

Doh!
Homer

You have every right to be a happy camper. Fine shooting, Homer. That's the way it is done.

Thanks Dr Mike!

I forgot to mention, this ammo was assembled on an RCBS 4x4 progressive reloading press.

And that whilst the rifle has been epoxy and pillar bedded in a High Tech Specialties (F/glass) stock etc etc (by myself), it only has a discarded "Screw Out" Remington 700 SPS model barrel fitted (though, I did re-crown it)!
Also, when seated to function thru the AI detachable mag, these bullets have a 0.170" jump, before engaging the rifling!!!
So, as they say, "Go Figure"!

Doh!

That's Great shooting ! I wish ADI would release some more 2208 to us here
in the US. I don't care what name they give it just send it.

Homer,

You have a shooter! Way to go buddy.

That is a very nice groups. Great shooting. I thinks you have a good load there.

G'Day Fella's,

Wow!
Thank You to you all for your kind responses!!!

As I mentioned above, I would interesting to know what a good BR shooter could achieve with this combo?

Best regards
Homer

I'm no BR shooter, but in NRA High Power prone competition, I shot quite a few "High Master" level scores with those bullets at 600 yards. Also used them quite a bit in several "practical/tactical" matches. Saw some very impressive accuracy from them.

G'Day Fella's,,

Thats some pretty impressive shooting there Guy, well done!!!

Yes, I picked up a box of 1000 of these for myself for a Very Good Price and some mates also got some at the same time.
They have been shooting some very impressive groups with these same batch of bullets, so looks like Mr Nosler's have it well and truly worked out!!!
But then, has Nosler ever made an Inaccurate bullet?
I don't think so!!!

Doh!
Homer

Nosler knows how to make accurate bullets...no doubt about it.

I wish I had taken pics of my range session late last year...pre season rifle check...I shot the best aggregate of groups that day that I've ever shot in my life...not just one group, but 7 of them, right in a row...all very well sub MOA, even the 300 and 600 yard groups...I was on my game that day for sure, and I have invested a lot of time and effort into the rifle and load development also, but those groups wouldn't have happened without good bullets...I was shooting 168 grain Ballistic Tips in my 30-06, and the groups would have looked good on a genuine BR target.

Thank You Nosler!
