Man, if my Whelen weren't shooting so well, I'd be tempted to sell it and buy one of the Noslers.

I seriously never understood the difference in a rifle that was good, and one that was trans formative in how I viewed a rifle. I've owned some nice pieces before, but never one that was so perfect suited to it's role. Picking up the Sporter 48s and bringing them to your shoulder damn near makes my parts tingle.
I'm really excited how the rifle pair is setup as well.
Nosler 48 Sporter in 7mm-08 w/ Leupold VX-R 4-12x40 Firedot
Nosler 48 Sporter in 35 Whelen w/ Leupold VX-R 3-9x40 Firedot #4. (Illuminated German #4)
Honestly, I don't think I could dream up a better pair of big game rifles for North America.
Optic on the Whelen gets mounted tonight and shot tomorrow. I'm giddy!
