Shot this coyote outside Ukiah last weekend. It was running straight away and I let a little 40g btip go at 3500fps out of my 222 Rem. It was just about to crest over a litle hill, and with the tall grass, it was kinda hard to see it in the first place, I knew I had to have either hit it in the head or the butt. I only had time for 1 shot. It sounded like a hit so I ran over there and checked. Sure enough there she was laying deader then dead with a bullet hole 1 inch above her butt, OUCH!! Lasered 242 yards.

Hey good job rem-man and boy doy i know the Ukiah is good for coyotes. My best friend and I were hunting elk in the Bridge Creek Wilderness Area 3 years ago and we killed 3 of them while stalking elk in the burn up there. As it says i am from Eastern Oregon and do hunt a lot. I hope you kill em all, they raise hell on our stock over here.
