Yikes! Thought I had another box or two squirreled away. Nope, about to open my last box of 260 gr Accubonds and load up some more .375 Bear Stompers. So... When I get done loading the last of these... I'll have No More 260 gr Accubonds.
My favorite .375" bullet...
Maybe I'll go with the 270 gr Partitions, I've got 150 of them on hand! :grin: Yes, I mean 270 grain, they're old bullets. Currently Nosler makes 'em in the 260 gr version, but these are 270's. Not as purty and pointy as the Accubonds though... Dang... Sniff...
I'm kind of trying to just shoot up the existing stocks I've got of .375 bullets, rather than buying new. Still have about 800 bullets in that caliber, but in a wide variety from Nosler, Speer, Hornady and Sierra, so there are only 100 - 150 of any one type.
What do you think, a 270 gr Partition is likely sufficient medicine for African plains game or another black bear or an elk here in Washington? :mrgreen:
