OH Scottyyyyyy....

That is a sure 'nough beautiful stick. FN did let a few slip through the doors with very handsome wood. This is my 300 WSM.

I do like the stainless barrel and action, however.

That's one handsome rifle there DrMike. Is that a safe queen or what. Don't see any scratch.

All my rifles do get carried afield. I must confess that I screwed up; the previous pictures are of my 270 WSM. I wasn't paying attention and failed to notice it is wearing a Z6 Swarovski. Here is my 300 WSM, wearing a VX7.

And while the 300 WSM is yet unblooded, the 270 WSM has accounted for several moose and elk and one lone whitetail.

I'm no expert, but that 270wsm appears to have the feather-wieght emblem in the forend.

Again, you have fine taste in rifles, wood and stocks.

Thanks for sharing, DrMike.

I do appreciate good looking wood, and the stock on that RMEF SG is very attractive; it has character.

Wow. You guys make it tough some days to just be content with I currently own.

Corey

Now, Corey, it is no hardship to trade in what you have for Winchesters, and the value of your collection will increase exponentially. Why do you think Scotty is so focused on acquiring all those fine Winchester arms?

They have been posted before. My 30-06 was from the same early batch of FN rifles. It is also quite handsome.

It has at least been blooded on a mule deer a couple of years ago. It shoots some nice groups.

That is pretty sharp for a 30-06 Mike. It would look much nicer as a Whelen though!

Man, I'm about rifle poor. The .30-06 will remain a .30-06, especially since the Ruger is shooting so very well. I was, however, just advised of a 358 Norma built on a Winchester action with a custom carved stock. Oh, man, now I'm in pain.
