Fotis, if I was ever going to buy another Winchester lever action, I would be the Model 71 in .348. That is a lot of rifle!

I was just looking into this very caliber last night...looking for a lever gun to use in the ground blind...I'm still undecided though, between a short lever rifle or a Ruger Super Blackhawk...and caliber....44 mag seems appealing though.

I'm only looking for a 50 yard reach...just something quick on target and fast follow ups.

Got the dies, brass, Lee Factory Crimp Dies (all my levers get these!), 200 grain Interlocks, 200 grain FTX and I will know about the rifle tomorrow night.
