On a lever Kick now?

Cool rifle Fotis!

I'm down to just a couple of levers now, but have enjoyed shooting and hunting with them since learning to shoot with a .22 Marlin 39A about 50 years ago.. Dang... Actually that Marlin was a "mountie" with the straight stock and shorter barrel than most 39A versions.

Enjoy the new lever gun, they're a lot of fun.

Regards, Guy

I forget about rifles that's not getting reloaded for or on the range rotation. I'm afraid of putting that new in box Winchester in your hands

Your fears are definitely warranted Brian! I am pretty sure I would have a hard time putting it down. Although, it would be a tossup between that and your Savage you have NOT shown me yet. Scotty

I used to be like that, but then the safe started getting more and more full. Now I'd have to upgrade my F150 to an F350 to take everything! :)

She should be her this week. Got some lever evolution powder so we will see what she will do.

When I was about 20 or so, a couple of friends and I took a Plymouth Trail Duster (think Blazer or Bronco) up in the Coast Range to do a little blasting. Seems to me like we had 26 guns along... the gun racks in the side-rear windows were full, gun rugs stacked in the back, along with ammo, holstered handguns hanging off the roll bar. The kid who pumped gas for us gave us a bit of a strange look.

Now that sounds like a good time. Can't never have enough rifles! Scotty

I wasn't thinking that as I was cleaning everything that night!

Too Tall,

You have some interesting history there.
Can you tell us more about that fine pair of rifles?

My Father gave me the '86 when I was still in High School. He gave me a .38-55, in a 1894 and then the '86. I carried that rifle on a lot of hunts, over the years. Had the .38-55 stole out the pickup.

The Sharps was new in the box. I found a crate with 2 of them in it. My lovely wife came up with the money, and they went home with me. Then after the movie Quigly, I sold the other one for more then I paid for the crate. The cosmoline had did some damage to both rifles. I had new wood made for mine.
