There are some really nice bulls in there. As it currently takes 17 or 18 years to get a big bull tag in our area, I will never draw one. I am happy to shoot spikes, and do see several 300+ bulls annually. This year on my last hunting day I saw a dandy while walking out to the truck.
I don't mind getting to see the big boys either. Sometimes I think they walk past saying something like, look at that old fool, one of these days we'll find his carcus in this canyon.
Man that is a beautiful photo, I just quit hunting a week ago and that picture gets me a thinking & itching .
This morning I received a email from a dealer who is going to be at the gun show here in Regina next weekend the 14th&15th. Doug is a Nosler direct and he stated that he should have a full supply of Accubonds including the long range stuff. If there are any of our Canuck group that are in need or just want  let me know and I will see if I can pre-order and just get them from Doug we can arrange shipping later.
Sorry not trying to hijack this thread.
My wife showed me the same picture on face book where it stated the picture was taken near Baker Oregon. There is a winter feeding ground just north of town, so the photo could have been taken near there.
Awesome picture. I do love seeing those Oregon elk. Seen more 300+ bulls while hunting in Oregon than I've ever seen anyplace else. Incredible elk hunting (when the weather cooperates).
