Powerstroke

Nosler4 told me today that spike horn is the first animal to be taken with the 338 250 gr AB. I think that is pretty cool. 8)

JD338 - well... It's a start!

Powerstroke - now we know the origins of the term "mousegun" !

JD... that is great ! I'm certianly interested in hearing about what you have planned in the future for those 250gr A-bonds.

Guy....it's a pretty poor pic, but the one on the left I think may go in the book.

Would you measure those by tail length and diameter at the base of the tail? And think of the subspecies. Field mouse, house mouse...

Powerstroke,

Congratulations on the B&C mouse. Now you need to use your bow and go for P&Y.

Long,

I think the official way to score is tail length, and several circumference measurements like sheep. Counting rings on the tail will also determine age.

I think it has been photoshoped! I saw it last year on "mousemasters"

Well, I'm sorry to report..... I don't think they are a "true" pure breed species...A little field mouse mixed with a little house mouse....that may disqualifie them....?

When we first moved into this place, it was all open field out back.. had a little problem with the critters..... To JD's thought.. I do have to say sittin here in the basement with the blow-gun was intertaining for a while....

Honkeetonkin,

That is funny  But how big does a basement have to be before it is considered free range? Would this also apply to a house in Texas?

Just goes to show that even on the Nosler forum all the answers aren't correct. You measure the length and base of the two top front teeth. and then devide that into the length of the tail for the true B&C score.
Good Hunting
Elkhunt
