I have no experience with Palmetto State Armory. From a quick internet search, I am not hearing very good reviews??

I bought 3 of the freedom rifle kits last Black Friday sale. Great kits, easy to deal with and fast shipping. I have no complaints.

I bought some bullets from them a few times, no issues with them there. Small sampling though.

I have bought one PSA Premium AR-15 kit and 3 Freedom AR-15 kits, including blem stripped lower receivers. All assembled just fine and have been very reliable and good shooters, grouping better than my expectations.

However, I bought a PA-10 (308) that I am having issues with. To be fair, I have not sent it back to PSA to give them an opportunity to fix, opting to try and work thru the issues myself. I have one more thing to try and if it doesn't work will send back to PSA.

Overall opinion of PSA is good and for their AR-15 series you will have a hard time beating their price/quality combo.

PSA is GTG

As an online retailer, their prices are tough to beat.

As a vendor of surplus items, they offer diamonds in the rough frequently (also see AIM surplus if looking for surplus or import or used LEO or ex mil pistols etc).

Their PSA stamped parts/kits/lowers are gtg.

They offer some really nice upper combinations at prices that are tough to beat, even if building your own.

Outspoken supporters of shooters and 2nd amendment rights... yes for obvious reasons ... but still nice to see. Didn't gouge to the extent others did during shortage.

if nothing else ... watch their daily deals (caution, this will cost you money)

I've bought a lot from them over the years. Always a solid company to deal with.

For AR barrels though, Rainier Arms Ultramatch all the way. They are outstanding.

Not sure about the "fast shipping" part. My one and only order from them, for an item they had in stock, took three weeks to get to me and I only live about 250 miles away.

Have three rifles that were built with parts or complete uppers from PSA.
There shipping times can be aggravating but products are as described and all three of my rifles shoot very well.
As stated, subscribe to their daily deals but hide your credit card when you do.
On average their daily deals allowed me to build a carbine for around $425 minus fire control components.
LPK w no trigger is $29.00 when they put them on sale.
Upgraded triggers in all of mine to Rock River two stages though so add $75.00
( Legal Transfers in Maine is the source for these )
