Last year, I shot a 5 shot group with a 160 Partition in my 7 mag that looked like one ragged hole. I also shot a mulie buck with that load last fall at 286 yards by my rangefinder.

I got the idea to try the 160 AccuBond and the best 3 shot group with it today was around an inch and a half...much to my surprise.

Needless to say, I will be hunting again this year with the Partition. Ain't broke, ain't gonna fix it. Photo below.

Stretched my gun out from 200-400 yards with the 160 Partition and these were the results (3 shot groups, no pics; i'm presently at work) :
200 yards = 1.128"
300 yards = 3.654"
400 yards = 5.236"
Used JBM ballistics program to establish predicted bullet drop and was near spot on.
Ran out of daylight but anxious to give it a go at 500 next.

That is interesting!!!
I have a 7mm mag that refuses to shoot 160 AB's to my standards. The 140 AB/BT does great but, I never thought about trying the PT. I guess I have gotten a bit obsessed with the polymer tip and BC.
I hate to say that I have tried the Sierra game king but not the Nosler PT in that gun.
looks like I'm going to the store for more again.

In the process of tweaking my drop chart for my 7mm Allen Mag, I dialed up from a 100 yard zero to make a 660 yard zero, fired 1 shot, returned to 100 yard zero and redialed to 660, fired another shot, here is the target, 160 accubonds at 3500 fps

The 7mm 160 gr PTs shoot. I shot a group with my M700 Classic 280 Remington that went .400" at 100 yds.
