Pentax Gameseeker Riflescope II, 2x7x32

Thinking about this for my 358 BLR.

Any experiences with these?

I've got a Pentax Pioneer (1st gen, made in Philippines instead of China) but that's just a copy of the Burris FFII. It's a great scope and did fine for several hundred rounds on my 270Wby. Tracked well, grouped precisely, no complaints. I still have it, and it'll likely end up on a 7mmRemMag at some point in the future. Seems about perfect for one of those. Can't speak directly to the Gameseeker, though. And I'm actually assuming you mean a Gameseeker II, right?

On a side note, I'm a huge fan of Pentax optics, having grown up on them. They virtually invented modern multi-coating techniques and for years had the best glass because of it. I have a Pentax SLR from the 60s, and a couple of digitals - a P&S & a DSLR - and all are great products. But they've never done as much in riflescopes as they could have, for some reason. Really has been a stepchild division of the company.

I would think the Minox would be a good scope. However, I've had several 2-7X32 scopes--admittedly, all were B&L. However, on the strength of their reputation, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Pentax.
