Pheasant!

Got out with Clark the dog and my 12 ga Beretta 390 today. Went to a private hunt club, and took five roosters with 8 shots over a day of walking & hunting. Every pheasant the dog found, was shot & recovered. Was a GREAT day!

No good photos of Clark today, he was pretty much a blur of intensity all day. I swear that dog covered 5-10 times the distance I covered.

What a great day... I love hunting upland game, and pheasant in particular.

Guy, April tells me that Chukar bird hunting can be a difficult and irritiating. Do you hunt them ?

The first time you hunt chukar its for the challenge. After that it's for revenge.

Yes I do! Large population of them along the Columbia River, where I live. Actually, well above the river up on the bluffs... Ya, they can be difficult...
