Just aquired an old 7mm Rem Mag Ruger M77. I'm looking to run the 120 NBT out of it for a while at coyotes and such. Can you run a quick-load for me for the 120 NBT?

Great board by the way... love my Noslers!

Welcome to the forum. I had great luck with RL-19.

Check your pm.

Truth be told... some situations recently have required the liquidation of all my firearms assets. Not wanting to give up my hunting (coyotes, deer, black bears) I picked up a used tang safety Ruger for a song... and have a 6x Weaver lying around, along with dies, brass, and some bullets for the 7mm Rem.

I'm no stranger to the 7Mag, I just haven't owned one for 10-12 years and there's some newer powders and bullets that make it better than ever. I've seen the 120 NBTs do some pretty mean things to deer, pronghorn, and coyotes. I like the 140s and 160s too... but the 120s in the 3500 neighborhood make me smile every time.

Welcome to the forum, glad to have you here.

The 120 gr BT is a very stout bullet, one that will hold up to WT deer even in your 7mm Rem Mag. For Black Bear, I woould bump up to the 140 gr PT and never look back.

Or the 140 AccuBond...

In the past 4-5 years I've seen at least half a dozen bears... and easily that many deer shot with the .270 cal 140 AccuBond out of the .270 WSM... all went down post haste... all exited. I'd assume performance would be similar with the 7mm version at equal speeds.

I've also seen more than a few deer shot with the 120 NBT out of the 7mm Rem and the 7mm Roy... all exited... all deer went down HARD. I'll never underestimate that bullets ability to put game in the dirt.
