I’ve yet to use this on any game animals but it is sure handy for moving logs around. The little Honda motor fired up on the first pull after sitting for six months.

This is the bigger model and weighs 35 pounds. They make a smaller one that weighs 20 pounds.
The smaller one would work fine for pulling out game.
I see they make a battery operated winch now as well.
