I'd like your opinions on manual powder measures. I'm looking at the Redding Model 3 and Model 3BR powder measures but would like any feedback available on similar models (RCBS, Hornady, etc.). I'd like to know your experience regarding accuracy, ease of use, durability, etc.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott

I have been using an RCBS Uniflow since the late 70's and have been very happy with it. I did change to the micrometer adjustment several years ago. I also added a baffle.

I also have the RCBS. It works well, as is out of the box, but I still weigh every charge as it is not always consistent with various powders.

I've used the RCBS Uniflow since the 70's. It's much better once you insert the micrometer insert and learn how to return to previous settings.

Few years back, I purchased the Lynwood Harrell's Custom 90 meter (4 clicks per; changes your throw by about .15 grains per click). I really loved it. It uses "clicks" and is VERY repeatable from day to day. I sent it back! I wanted to try the Premium model (6 clicks per; about .1 grains per click). I love it even more!

The Uniflow is retired but not sold or given away!
