Any one using this powder? What are the burn rate characteristics and where does it fit on a burn rate chart.

I used it for a 338Federal and the results were great velocity and accuracy was there. I'm going to finish up after hunting season with it and see where it takes me.

I need to call Nosler and see if I can get some starting load info for it in the 35 Whelen.

I have used it in the 308/165AF for 2750fps. I used it in my 338 Federal/180TTSX but ran out of room before reaching 2800fps. TAC was the berries with the 180. I have not tried it my Whelen AI. I got the impression it was a slow powder that did better when used with the heavy bullets per caliber. It's kinda like R26 in that regard. I first heard of it over on the Alaska forum from guys who were using it to get good speeds with the 200gr bullet in the 308. It is a good one, I just don't know if its actually too slow in the "almost straight cased" Whelen Improved. I am however, keenly interested in these new powders. So far, R26 and R33 have excelled for me, along with R17. TAC has been awesome, same with Magpro. As you know, I am "almost" OCD with my Whelen AI and H322/R15, ha. I just can't seem to break away from those two! But if 2000MR is going to work in the Whelen AI I'd try it with the 250s or heavier first. Good luck to you Pard.

Preacher, I'm locked in with the CFE223 200gr AB load for the lighter bullets and looking for something for the 225gr and up that's why I'm looking at 2000-MR. or maybe H380. The 35AI seems to want slower powders.
