Several years ago I picked up brick of primers
To use in my 308 Win especially……S/B large Rifle primers they are a very mild primers and cheap at the time. Excellent in the 308 win with IMR 4064/4895. I mainly use cherish RWS 5341 primers which is also a mild primer that performs excellent and is my main primer in my 308 Win today with 4064/4895.

Interested that Winchester recommends mostly WLR primers with their Ball type powder like 748/760.

Ball powders are harder to ignite and at one time Winchester large rifle and large pistol primers were listed for both magnum and non-magnum loads, eliminating the need for two different primers.
