Well my Lee priming tool broke yesterday. That is one press and priming tool this summer. It looks like Lee's products last about the same length. Would you call and buy a replacement arm or buy an new tool?

What tool would you get?

I had two Lee Auto-Prime tools for more years than I care to remember. They never broke despite heavy use. One of those I sent to another member of this forum some time back. I wouldn't hesitate to get another Auto-Prime if I were looking for it. However, I like the RCBS Universal Priming Tool even more. The extra money is well-spent; this is about the only priming tool I use now.

I have the RCBS and it works very well.
I would definitely recommend it. (guess I just did)

Had a Lee, wore it out and replaced the worn part then sold it off and bought the RCBS. The RCBS is a better tool, IMO.

I have a couple of Lee hand priming tools but now seat all my primers on the Forster Coax press.

Lee is very good about customer service and would replace the part quickly. I have both the RCBS and Hornady hand primers. I have one set up large primers; the other for small. I give the nod the Hornady for ease of use and comfort. If I were to buy a new one I'd be tempted to try one of the ones that don't require a shell holder.
