I live in cental California but took a little road trip this week to the Paso Robles region of the state to do a little wine tasting and go over to the coast for some fresh fish.

I did my usual and hit three of my favorite gun stores in the region. Much to my surprise they all had a good supply of CCI primers. They had both large and small in rifle and pistol. This is an improvement as they have had NONE in the last few months. One of them has had a shipment of Federal primers once in a while.

Anyway, looks like the primer supply may be coming around. However, none of them had any IMR brand powders in stock. Good supply of Hodgdon and Reloader powders, but no IMR.

Just found it interesting that they had primers at all, the way things have been going.

We've been seeing supplies of CCI, Remington and Winchester primers intermittently here in northern British Columbia during the past six months. There are never "lots," but there are some. A large shipment of Hodgdon powders is arriving this week, but there are no IMR, Winchester or Alliant powders available in any quantity yet. Supply has not yet caught up to demand, but it is improving. To everyone looking for supplies, don't give up. It looks as if they are coming, howbeit slowly.

I think the "rush" is over, at least for now and components are more available. Prices hare are much higher than a year ago. I bought a lb of H322 and Retumbo. and they were $22.00 each which is about $5.00 more a lb.
