propriatory caliber

What with Nosler branching out with thier own brass and rifles, how far can it be before we see propriatory calibers? Only Nosler knows for sure but what if? So now that we're off into the unknown, what kind of calibers would you all like to see?? Personally I'd like to see a .375-450Marlin or the .338 Nosler short magnum that Winchester couldn't deliver. Or maybe a .375-.338Win with the 260gr. AccuBond. What a mid range thumber that would be!

I am not sure you will see any manufacturer come out with another short mag until all the dust settles from the Jamison patent issues.

It would seem natural for Nosler to develop their own cartridge. I would like to see a thumper in the 338 - 375 class.

I heard that Jamison gets the rights to the short mags. Since the Jamison and the WSM only have two measurements in common (35*shoulder and same overall length) I expect that Jamison will go after Remington next and then everyone else who makes anything related to the shortmag concept.
