I have Pro 4000, but I have done nothing with it at this time. Moreover, it is not in the data base for QL at this point. I had hoped it would be there, but I'll just have to wait for at least the next upgrade. If you knew the designation from the Bofors production, you could just read the data sheet provided and apply that.
I've played w/ it in alot of calibers. I quickly came to believe its a hair faster than re19 and a hair slower than i4831.
In my 22" marlin w/normal factory chamber I got....
58.3. 130 hornady. 3050
55.8. 150 horn. 2900
56.2. 140 horn. 2920.
These were loads w/rem brass. 215 primers seemed more accurate than 210's
These were 30 degree temps.
Work up as usual.
You won't get superior speed to any other powder but I never had excessive pressure while getting near top speeds.
Can't tell you about 270 wsm but I see they have data for 7wsm....maybe do some referencing w/ re19 and i4831 data and you should get a strategy.
In my 22" marlin w/normal factory chamber I got....
58.3. 130 hornady. 3050
55.8. 150 horn. 2900
56.2. 140 horn. 2920.
These were loads w/rem brass. 215 primers seemed more accurate than 210's
These were 30 degree temps.
Work up as usual.
You won't get superior speed to any other powder but I never had excessive pressure while getting near top speeds.
Can't tell you about 270 wsm but I see they have data for 7wsm....maybe do some referencing w/ re19 and i4831 data and you should get a strategy.
