So I'm hoping with the data I have will correlate to what QL shows w/o the H2O capacity? (I can weight the H2O capacity if need be BTW)

Oh, the avg bullet length is 1.2490" or .6567 bullet to ogive.

280 AI**** 24" bbl. 1:10" twist
Woodleigh 160 PP @ 2.700" CBTO = 3.34"-3.35" COAL (The noses of this bullets can be that much off)
in Nosler Brass.

53.5 H4350 velocity recorded at 23' and 22' from the muzzle.

Thanks Scotty! Interesting, so why is the data so far off for H4350, and RL-22 do you think?

Looks like 100 fps for Rl-22, and about the same for H4350 if you take into account the data was taken 22' from the muzzle, which I add roughly 1 fps per foot plus or minus a few feet.

I noticed the screen was reading the bullet still gaining velocity at the second screen, and something I've never seen before, but at the end of the day my printer was acting up and I didn't have a new battery to put in.
 
Kevin, I would so it is the lot of powder difference that you are seeing. I can adjust QL to mimic what you are seeing but if you go by PSI vs the charge you can see where you can go and still be in the safe zone with your current lot of powder.
 
So I understand that part and why I've always watched, and stayed within the expected velocity range for a given bullet weight. The IMR-4831 is accurate from what I'm seeing, so how far then is it showing Max vs. these low numbers for H4350, Rl-22?

I noticed the Hodgdon Data was in the 60,000-62,000 psi range, most in the mid 61,000 area. So when does these three powders IMR-4831, H4350, RL-22 reach that level? I'd assume at the expected velocity, correct?

I'd like to know how my numbers correlate to the OBT B_time so I can see where I am OBT wise?
 
Would some please run me a QL based off the Woodleigh 160 PP @ 3.450" using IMR-4831, and the 160 TSX FB @3.300" using RL-22 (I get roughly 2,950 w/ 56.0 RL-22).

I think there is a #5 node somewhere in the 57.2-57.4 range with IMR-4831, and that bullet. I saw it first with the 54.7 charge, and close with 56.7, so this should give me something to test again even though I was ready to just drop it altogether, and use the loads I already have made up until now.

I think the old load I found in 2004 with the 160 TSX FB is still a super load with a great hunting bullet. I thought these Woodleigh's would be too, but I'm still on the fence to even use the (2) boxes I have or not?
