Don, Nosler has Varget listed for their +P stuff which might be a decent place to start. Looks like it’d be pretty speedy with a touch more pressure.

I was at 2950 with 39gr. Not opposed to trickling in a little more powder using the #1 but want to see what the pressure looks like. Nosler doesn’t show Varget in the AI data. I’ve been able to get to at least stating loads for the AI data without pressure signs using other powders like H380.

However at 39 grains of Varget she shot a 3/4moa group at 300 yards, gotta like that. 3000 to 3050 would be the goal.

Side note Scotty, that area you hunted with Bill Casey is burning or at risk of burning right now.

The quick loads someone made up for me were at 62,000 psi and worked out great.

Buy that’d be rough if that burns. But it’s probably do. Never hurts it too long after a decent burn.

The 49.5 gr Reloder 22 and 115 bt load JD and I use in the 700 classic is a 62k load.
