Somewhat new to the forum but have been doing a lot of reading on it. I was wonder if somebody could run a QL request for the 260 with Reloader 23 with 130 Nolser AB? There is some data for 140 AB but cant seem to find anything on the 130. Any help would be great.

Kinda wondering why that QL isn't flagging the near SAAMI max like it normally does... RR, is that a modified cartridge? Just asking because the abbreviated ".260 Rem" at the top.

This is with my Lapua case capacity- .260 Remington SAAMI.

Its interesting to see how different the barrel times are between the two QL's.

May have to give RL 23 in my 260 Rem a try when some appears up here, should also work well in the 6.5x55.

Wyo, no, it's not a modified cartridge. The case volume used was the default value. The barrel length was set at 23.9 because that was the last value I entered for one of my own rifles. The "near maximum" and "do not use" flags are absent because I always copy the results to a .txt file and edit those out for readability's sake.

Wow, had no idea you could get .270 velocity's with 130 grain bullets from the little .260 case !!
Pretty amazing stuff right there..................................
I messed around with a .260 a few years ago with short barrel on Rem model 7, and we struggled to get 2800fps outta it !!! That first load of 46grs bringing just under 2900fps blows my mind, considering we used to need to cram 60 grs of 4831 into a .270 to get the same velocity! That is amazing!
Good luck with your reloading.
