I agree with your assessment of the Pre-64.

I would question how this rifle feeds the fatter Wienerboy Roy cartridge and if any work has been done to the feed rails. And what is up with a Winchester trigger that has a little creep? I thought these were the best ever? I've seen much worse for sale for a lot more though.
