IMR4350 was always my go to powder in the 30-06 for 150/180 gr bullets.

I would lean on lighter bullets than 180 grains if using mono like Barnes TTSX such as 150 to 165 grains to ensure expansion from a 30-06. 2680 fps at the muzzle may not be sufficient to open at impact velocity for a 180 TTSX, just a thought. 2800 fps or more at the muzzle is more ideal for reliable expansion. The 150 TSSX seems perfect at 2900 + fps.

I like the 150 ttsx out of my 06, I ordered some of nosler e tip on Monday they arrived yesterday. I’ll start playing with those in October.

Keep in mind that the E Tips like a lot of jump. I've gotten excellent accuracy at .100" jump.

150gr TTSX rocks in my 30-06 with RL17. Running them at 3080fps flattens whitetail on the spot.

I have a cheap plastic stocked Winchester model 70 that I refer to as “The Loaner.” I loaded it with 150 ttsx but I used Big Game powder which worked better than IMR 4350. It shoots great and not too tough recoil. I did put a good scope on it.
It also shoots the original 150 gr trophy bonded bear claw which is loaded with IMR 4350 albeit slower in order to achieve best accuracy.
I know that’s not particularly helpful but I do like the 150’s and have had good success with these bullets

Same here! God, I can't believe I let my stocks fall as low as they have of RL17.. Love that stuff.

I’ve had good results with 150gr E-Tip bullets from my 308 Win. I get 3/4-1” groups at 100 yards. 50.5 grains of CFE223 gives 2940 fps from a 22” barrel, and is a little under the Hodgdon max.
The primers from that load are nowhere near as flat as Nosler factory loads with the same bullet. I thought the factory loads verged on over pressure by the looks of the primers. The E-Tip is really growing on me in a few calibers the more I work with them.

Barnes website has a lot of data but some leaves me scratching my head. One in particular is 308 Win. and 130gr TTSX. Powder weight and velocity don’t match if even it would fit in the case.

What bothers with Barnes reloading data is that for some cartridges, they list the same COAL for a TSX and TTSX with the same amount of powder. Well the TTSX will seat in the case .020 or more deeper, and if you are near max, you will lock up your bolt. Ask me how I know.
When I questioned Barnes, they said its correct. I NO longer trust their data.
