What about Nosler data, they have pretty good powders and seems like full power data last I looked. Which powders are you looking to use?

Agree, them and Barnes plus the online Hodgdon Load Center have good data. I was mainly looking at Ramshot powders and R17. I couldnt seem to find older posts with the Search feature. This rifle is about 30yrs old, never been used, clean bolt face and rifling! It has a Kreiger cut rifled in what looks like a Medium Sporter. I have some feelers out for anyuone who can skelentonize the action and flute the barrel, then ceracoat it maybe. If not, I;ll pack it like it is! ha

I believe I’m around 70-72 grains of 17 under a 210 Swift for around 3k in my Alaskan Jim. I like 17 quite a lot in my 338’s.

Jim,

Well, I found out thatthe Sako action after its heat reated in Factory, its almost impossble to Skeletonize, /cant get it set up to Mill right either. However, I could always have to barrel reduced din diameter, but I'm not messing with it. I also can put a 1x4 or straight 6x on it and save a ton IF I feel I need to. I'm shooting it as is for now. Just got my Tract Toric 2-20 4" eye relief!
