24" barrel. Does QL list Big Game & Hunter powder for the 160?
I'd also like to see some loads with R22/R23/R26/R17 with the 225?
Thanks! :)

I did a search and could not find any previous workup. I'm looking for 64K level for both bullets. Please help! Thanks...:)

Sorry no help here since I don't have QL and can't afford Barnes bullets since I like the cheap seconds I can get from Nosler and Midway.

Barnes website lists loads with big game, hunter and RL17. Not sure why you would want a 225gr Barnes in that as you would be better off with 185 or 210gr and more speed. Barnes needs speed for better terminal performance and I have found that the faster you push them the more accurate they seem to get.

My 2 Cents

Thanks guys. I have a bunch of and data for the Nosler 180, 200nbt, 200AB, 210PT and 250 AB & PT on hand. I also have the 160TTSX and some 185 tsx. I have never, ever, shot any 225 in any Medium caliber! I.ve shot game with the 200/250X in the Whelen AI and the 185/210 x in both 338WM & 340W. I liked how that 250X in the AI killed game, and think I'd like to see what kind of speed/accuracy I can get in this "new to me" 338WM I have coming. :) Wait, I just remembered that I shot the 220 Speer fireforming loads in the Whelen and the 225 Woodleigh in the .358 win BLR that I only had briefly. I saw nothing the BLR could do that my lighter weight Mod 700 35WAI didn't do better. different strokes kind of thingy. :) But overall, no 225s have ever been used on game by me. I love the 180 Barnes in any 300 mag and the 168 Barnes in any 30-06. But that 225 TTSX has a pretty high B.C., if I can get 2900 or so it would be a "hot stepper"! ha

I have loaded the 225 to 2900 with Hunter, Superformance, R-19, H4350 and IMR 4350. This was from a Tikka T-3 lite SS. Bullets were Nosler PT, Hornady IB, Barnes TSX and Sierra pro hunter. My current hunting load is Hunter and the 225 Hornady IB.

Sorry no info on the TTSX as I have way to many Hornady and Sierra bullets on the shelf.
