Had great success with IMR 4350 but am out of the powder. I do have lots of other powders and
am wondering if someone could give me a quickload that includes some of the newer powders to
see if it might be worth trying some of them. I have reloder 17, 19 and 22. Winchester 760 and 780BR,
IMR 4831, AA 2520, H450, N203 and 205 for example.

Thanks

Just looking at your list, I'd suggest you consider H450, Win760, Accurate 2520, and possibly IMR4831, Win780, or one of the RL's (though these may all be a bit slow for the 150gr?). In reality, I have it on pretty good authority there is no better choice for 150-165gr -06 loads than either H or IMR 4350, so you might just bite the bullet and buy a pound of it, or maybe a couple.

I have used W748 with 150 AB with good results. 22" barrel was getting 2950-3000 fps. Can't remember the powder charge. Clean burning powder.

Of the powders you list, in the order in which I would offer a recommendation, I would look at W760, RL19, IMR4831, N203 (old), A2520 and W780. Any of these should give you good velocities approximating what you were seeing with IMR4350. I do believe the dubyam has a good point worthy of careful consideration. IMR4350 is an excellent powder for the 30-06 with a 150 grain AB.

H4350 will give you more velocity and consistent accuracy than IMR4350 with the 150gr bullet. It is also less sensitive to temp changes. Both are good for the 30-06, but in the last three 06's I have owned, H4350 out preformed IMR4350 with 150 and 165gr bullets.

Got to like H4350. Consistent and clean burning. Very good with the 165 AB load I developed.

No quickload data?

Would like to see where reloder 17, h450 and others sit on the list for velocity etc.

You would be very hard pressed to find a more universal 30-06 powder than either H or IMR 4350. Especially on the bullet weights of 150-180 there is no better choice in my experience. Yet at 180 grains that is where the slower burning powders you mentioned begin to shine. I had a particularly accurate load with RL19 and 200 grain ABs in my 30-06 but there isnt anything that could do that the 180 couldnt do better. Decided to split the difference and just shoot the 165 grain ABs for everything in my 30-06.
