My loads, for each bullet weight listed, based on Nosler’s book max, are all !DANGEROUS LOAD - DO NOT USE!

R-P brass, WLRM primer, if it makes any difference.

I also have not been a huge fan of Varget in my 7mm-08...or anything really. I stumbled across a decent load with A2495, 120gr....not a screamer but I was punishing a rock at 250 yards with it.

That's real close to what I've used. 41.5 with the 139 SST. Worked excellent in a full length M700, and as good as anything else I tried in a M700 mountain rifle, and put 5 shots under 3/4" first test in a Rem 788. Not a bad record I'd say. It may not be the best, but it's showed me it's close on 3 in a row.

Ive also had good success with the 139gr SST and Varget. Matter of fact my plans are to "work" on that load in the coming weeks.
 
I am about to build a 7mm08. A 243 is being sacrificed, don’t need two of them. Actually don’t need a 7mm08 either but am really looking forward to playing with it. I have a few hundred 139SST’s and was tossing up between Varget and H4350

That's good stuff Jim. Excellent results no doubt! Quite impressive on both speed and accuracy.

The only problem I have with what you're saying is where a person could find a reasonable amount of RL17 right now and at what cost. For whatever reason the RL powders have been rare as hens teeth in my local haunts, and what is found at times is ridiculously high in price comparatively. Hopefully the day is coming where we can once again pursue our hobby unrestricted in whatever direction we wish to try. One can at least hope.
