I need Quickload data for a 125 ballistic tip in 300 Shot mag. Please and Thank you!!

Looks like a victim of spell check?

300 WSM or 300 WM or is it something else? (300 Savage?)

I was looking to get some QL data with 140gr and 150gr Nosler Ballistic Tips in a 7mm-08 and 24" barrel. Using RL15 or a similar powder. The load data charts show almost the same charge weights for both bullets with dfferent relative capacities. Doesn't look right to me so I want to confirm it.

I completely missed that to be honest. Thanks for that. They were posted before RL15 was released so that particular data isn't there. That was the other part of my question. Same charge posted on the website for differet bullet weights.

It is weird. 16 and 17 are on that run and 15 was around long before either of those.

Code:
Cartridge : 7 mm-08 Rem.
Bullet : .284, 140, Nosler BalTip 28140
Useable Case Capaci: 47.351 grain H2O = 3.074 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 2.800 inch = 71.12 mm
Barrel Length : 24.0 inch = 609.6 mm
Powder : Alliant Reloder-15 *C

Predicted data by increasing and decreasing the given charge,
incremented in steps of 2.0% of nominal charge.

Could someone run a Quick Load for 7-08.

Win cases
140 gr Sierra GK and Pro Hunter
Varget powder
22 in barrel
Win LR primer
2.760 OAL

Hello all!
I saw a little further up about some QL data for 6.5 CM, but it was with 24 inch barrels.
I recently acquired a Ruger American Predator in 6.5 Creedmoor, and it has a 22 inch barrel, 1 in 8 rifling twist.
The powders I have are RL-26, RL-22, IMR 4064.
I was hoping, maybe, I could get bullet weight ranges from 100 gr up to 143 gr?
I like Nosler, Hornady, and Sierra bullets, in that order.
I intend to hunt rockchuck, prairie dog, coyote, up to deer.

Thank you in advance!

Regards,

Hawk

I posted this last month in the Reloading pages but did not get a response.

So I am reposting here.

Can you calculate QL data using RL 16 for this new bullet?
It is 1.413 inches long with a 0.469 bearing surface.

I will seat to 2.900 OCL.

24 inch barrel.

Hornady brass.

And Lapua brass if you have the time to do both.

this will become a very popular bullet and well worth submitting a calculation for if anyone has time to do so.

Many thanks!

What's the current status of Quick Loads, in terms of what platforms it's available on, etc? Last I checked, it was not available on Mac. Seems to me like it would make an excellent app, and one that just about every reloader in the world would pay good money for, if it was just accessible and easy to use... I'll bet they could charge 50 bucks for it, and they'd make more money off of it in the first year, than they have up to now. I know I would buy it.

Dr. Mike,

I am not sure if I am doing something wrong with QL. It appears when are use IMR powders, like IMR4350, QL tells me I am in dangerous pressures, even when using "safe" loads from Nosler or other Loading Manuals. I am able to match any of the runs you posted on here without any issues. It appears that the problem for now is IMR powders. Any suggestions?

Thanks for all your help

ASD

From neconos.com website: "Q: I have a MAC – will QuickLOAD work on a MAC?

A: As long as you have an emulator program such as “Parallels” or “Virtual PC” or any other program that allows a MAC device to run programs. Most newer MACs come with an emulator already installed."

In the latest Data Update for QuickLoad, many powders have *C, *T, or *C*T. Does anyone know what it means? I can't find a reference anywhere

Please see the label on the disk for the 'translation'

*c = decoppering additive

*T = LTC [propellant

Thanks. I was trying to figure that out too. What does “LTC [propellant” mean or what is it?
Duane

Anyone out there still running QL for people?

I would sure be grateful for someone to run the 144 Berger in 6.5 CM.

A lot of folks will be using this bullet.

Initial load development looks like more of a 140 grain than 147.
