Thank you for the insight, the 08 is new to me for handloading and reading ridge runners post about QL ,I know I should be measuring overfill capacity with a fired case but I'm not there yet because I have to fire this Nosler brass first.jimbires":toa35any said:going by the chart above , 47.0 is 3.5 grains under max . I'd start there without worry . usually the starting load in books are 4.0 grains under max . I've never found a starting powder charge to be the best . as you work up just watch for pressure .
