I always wanted a #1 but it never quite made it to the top of the list.....Then I saw this one!
.270 Weatherby #1B NIB. Older gun that had been a safe queen then sent to Turnbulls for the refinish. I had to wipe the drool off it for the pict. It's even better in person. I'll use it - I don't own safe queens. I already have brass(need to order more from Nosler) and a Forster ultra die set with micrometer seater. I should be able to seat bullets out where they need to be w/o worry of the mag. Should be fun!

RADD is like that. It is a good looking rifle, that's for sure. Congratulations.

Very nice! Congratulations.

I know what you mean about RADD, I just bought a Ruger LC9 today.

Dude, we gotta hook up sometime so I can drool on that thing in person!

That color case hardening looks so good in your photo, that I hauled my Number One out of the gunsafe and gave it a hard look.... Don't think I'll be doing it to my rifle - but wow - that looks great.

Exceptional looking No 1! I was on a kick back in the mid-90's where I couldn't stay away from a No 1. I think the only one I passed on was in 257 Roberts. Only the 243 wouldn't shoot worth beans, but I never put any extra money into them, just handload and shoot!

It brings to memory some of the old buffalo guns with their case hardening and silver or gold trim in "to die for" stocks. What a beauty!!
Congrats
Greg
