Was out "hunting" today with my binos and my little pocket camera. Turned out to be a worthwhile effort. I really ought to get a better camera! Enjoy the photos:

These three rams actually looked pretty good through the binoculars, but my camera lens wasn't enough to reach out and capture that. I'd have tried to close the distance, but there was a chunk of private property barring my way. No permission to cross it doggone!

The rams were on the bluffs above the Columbia River, and the eagles were along the Entiat River, a tributary of the Columbia. Sure was a good way to spend a few hours.

Boy you aren't kidding Guy. Those Eagles are just awe inspiring. I have been seeing a lot of em lately here in Kansas City the past 3 or 4 weeks. Never with a camera in my hand dammit!

Very nice pictures thanks for sharing. I just got back from your neck of the woods. I love it up there.

I think scotty and brain may have seen those Rams or at least their cousins. Great pictures Guy !!!!!!

I used to walk beneath the eagles all the time along the Coquitlam, the Mamquam and the Squamish Rivers. They are fun to watch. Even at that distance, one of the rams looks decent, Guy. Great pictures. Not much snow on the slopes, though.

Man Everytime I open up your posts I know it will be something great.

As always Guy, some great pics. You live in one of the most beautiful places in the country!

Any good machinist jobs out there? I may have to move!
